OK, sorry if this has been asked to death but we need help.

Need to fill out a Form CG1, we haven't got a clue about what way to fill it out.

My partner bought and sold shares in work (a U.S. company, bought in dollars then converted into euro), she gained on them and it's a once off so we've never had to fill this out before.

If anyone can point us in the right direction as to what way to even start filling it out we would appreciate it, a lot.

Did she make these gains because she was exercising share options? (Ie she bought the shares for a price below their traded price and sold them straight away...)

Yes, she exercised the share options. The shares matured in late 2012 and were sold January 2013.

    Thanks

Hi, her workplace went through all that about what to pay and how to work it out but it wasn't RTSO, it was CGT.

We just need help on what way to fill out the form CG1
