MAY 30TH Charity SF tournament @ Woolshed, Dublin

    Just saw this posted by The Arcade and couldn't find any mention of it on here soooo yea. Seems there's a charity SF tournament being run from 6pm till late on May 30th in the Woolshed. Entry is 5 euro. More info in this link.

    Sounds fun, is it SF4 does anyone know? It doesn't say which game it is in the link.

    The organiser replied and said if we can have 6 sticks there and don't mind other people using them for the night, he'll allow them.

    I'm going to be the guy who says,

    It's an event for fun/charity and the organiser probably isn't familiar or aware a scene exists. They now might also be looking at this thread.

    It's Street Fighter 2 being played, not 4. I don't mind bringing my stick along as well, I'm sure we can get 6 sticks in total - might be a bit of a pain keeping an eye on them though if the organiser wants them by the consoles all night.

    was toying with the idea of trying to get into it a while back..
    was playing it with some of the lads recently to get them to be more patience

    Chunkis? :confused: I'd win easily if I was as good or as bothered as I was years ago with ST ;)

    That's insane, no sticks and Akuma is pickable. Spose it is only a charity event, but still! Mental...

    I also have a personal grudge against HDR, I don't think at all classic HDR is a substitute for ST, it looks wonky. Probably the handiest and closest thing to the game for tournaments though, so whatever
