Subsitution from 22 to 308

    Would a substitution from .22 Licence to .308 with good reason to aquire .308 take roughly same time period as a like for like with .308 to another .308 as both .22 and .308 non restricted.

    It would be entirely on the super as to if they would even entertain such a sub. Nothing to loose by trying though :) just ring your FO and ask.

    A substitution is meant to be 14 days at most.

    Subbing a .22lr for a .308 can be done if you are taking up target shooting or deer hunting and are using the .22 as a trade. If it's just to get a .308 without good reason then the fact they re both unrestricted may not count for much.

    What do you need/want the .308 for?

    800-1000y FTR, My current 308 with 24in barrel good out to 600y and 800y on a good day however woint cut the mustard for competition from 800y.

    That'd do it.

    As a member of a range and needing it for target shooting you'll have perfect good reason. During the height of my shooting i had 4 .308's.

    wasnt sure if i would be asked to sub exsisting 308 which is exellent out to 600y for new ftr rig but will try subbing the .22mag, Just hope i woint be waiting months as i should take delivery of new ftr build in 4-5 weeks:)
