On budget and dedicated DX is 40mm 2.8 lens is very good and cheap, but if you very serious about macro get Tamron 90mm 2.8 or Nikon 105mm 2.8. I think there is new one from Tamron DX 60mm 2.0.

Yeah,I was looking at the Tamron 90mm. which has had some very decent reviews,and think I may go for that one alright.
