Connection speed - NGB

    Based on the Line atenuation I think I should get much better than below:

    DSL Mode :     ITU G.992.5(ADSL2PLUS)
    Speed:     12288 kbps/670 kbps
    Line Attenuation(Down/Up):     19.6 dB/ 10.6 dB
    DSL Noise Margin:     17.7 dB/ 20.9 dB


    The modem is connected right to the box at the door.

    Can somebody check my line and see if you can move me to a higher speed profile?

    is there any profile that has a higher upload speed?

    even if is not is much much better.

    Glad to see the improvement,

    I just checked with technical support and there is no other profile offering a higher upload speed at present.

    If you start to experience connection loss please let me know right away :)

    Technical support have advised me that they have put it to 15MB now. I've asked for 16 or 17 but I have been advised up to 15MB is the closest profile to 18MB that can be assigned.[/font]

    I am on 15 now, and line looks stable, no connection loss..

    Hi Al,

    it is still not stable, experiencing disconnects.. can we please try something under 15Mb, and hopefully keeping the 765 upload speed.

    strange, it seems very stable this morning. Is it possible that gets unstable in the afternoon when people get home and starting netflix...

    Just to be sure I'd like to try whatever is under 15 with the max upload speed that is available on the profiles...
