    Hi there, my name is Hannah and I am going over to Santa Barbara for the summer on a J1. I have over two years experience in waitressing in a busy restaurant. Can anyone suggest good/ bad restaurants to work in. I am looking for a busy, popular restaurant where the tips will be good. Thank you

    Dargans on State St would be a good place to start. It's still Irish owned, I think, and they do a busy enough food service in there.

    Apart from that, there's a load of places on and just off State St.
