    Hi
My son (10 years old!) and I have put together a very basic Irish Cartoon character called Farg- and a website fargosaurus.com we need some help in the form of user feedback (as constructive as possible please).
Is this a site that you can see kids using? If not what would you like to see changed to make it better.
We have dabbled in making it bilingual with basic Irish- is this worth continuing?
Are the characters right? Stories are light on the ground at present (a work in progress) but I would like to have your feedback so that we can shape it towards users advice.
    Thanks in advance
    JD

It looks very good (particularly the content ie cartoons are nice looking).

Unfortunately cannot speak as to whether children would like it, my one comment would be how you choose Irish/English. You need to keep choosing the language, and scrolling down to the comic.. but I don't think it's possible to do it properly on this free website though!

Thank you for taking the time to respond- I will take this feedback on board and see if I can do something about that

The drawings are great but the Irish translations are way off- you might be better off taking them down until you get proper translations in case you put anyone off.

Thank you for this feedback- I will address it straight away.
I have asked for assistance with some of the translations do you know anyone that would help?

Maybe try asking on the Gaeilge Amháin page on Facebook? It's an Irish language group and they have an Irish-only policy but it doesn't matter how good or bad your Irish is. Hopefully someone there might be able to do it for you or know someone who can do it..

Not sure if you are aware of this but Foras na Gaeilge offer funding to businesses for bilingual materials. Should be info on gaeilge.ie.

You could ask on the "Irish Language Forum". They do a lot of translations.

Rhedyn, until you reach the postcount limit that allows you to post links, I think leaving out the www. at the beginning of the link stops vB parsing the link and will allow you to post a copyable (though not clickable) link.

Here is a better Irish version of the information for Farg. (if anyone spots any mistakes, please let me know.)

Seo Farg, is de shliocht speiceas andúchasach dineasáir as Iúpatar é, tá sé an-láidir agus tá sé cúig míle bliain d'aois (Níl sin ró-aosta d’Fhargosaur!). Tá Farg ina chónaí in Éirinn anois agus bíonn an-chuid eachtraí aige lena chairde.

Is é glas an dath is fearr leis.
    Tá eagla air roimh lusanna.
Is breá leis burgar le cáis!
Is dlúthchairde iad Noel & Béabhar leis.
Tá an tóir aige ar peil, a bheith ag bácáil borróg agus Bus Iamácach (barra rotha a iompú!).
Is breá leis an cianspás, réaltaí agus pláinéid.
    Is boc gealgháireach é!
Is é an áit saoire is fearr leis ná Iamáice.
Tá Mamaí agus Daidí fós ar Iúpatar.
    Is páiste aonair é Farg.
Rith sé tríd an cianspás chun a bheith anseo!
Is iad barraí seacláide na milseán is fearr leis.

Tá cónaí ar Farg le Noel agus Béabhar i dteach leath míle ón trá in Éirinn, tá linn snámha sa theach - ag Noel - ach baineann siad ar fad taitneamh as!
