    I thought this might be of interest to quite a few people here, it's kinda hard to imagine that metal would be all that controversial, but nonetheless it was. Quite a fascinating, if cringeworthy video.

    Have perceptions changed all that much? Metal may invoke a lot less outrage within the domain of mainstream media but does the "average Joe" see it any differently today then the naysayers in that video?
