It was a mess, Keith. I only half remembered the characters, got them mixed up and I might have put some people from Neighbours into it. It was like a North Korea election.

He did put himself through quite a lot of it himself though, he chose to take heroin cos he thought it'd have less consequences than booze, and cos he looked up to Keith Richards, sorry, but it's a bit woolly minded really……he did have kids and his wife had cancer, I think he's responsible for his choices, he was after all, no kid when he started using heroin
