Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've been going to the same table in the same polling station every election for the last 11 years. Every time I walk or take the wife's car there are no questions asked.

Every time I vote on my way home from work, and therefore wearing bike gear, I get ID'd.

    What are your experiences?

Edit: I have presented a valid polling card on every occasion. The requirement to produce ID as well is optional, but I am detecting a distinct pattern to the 'optional' :( which is down to their 'discretion'

    Scrap the cap!

never noticed actually - I didnt know the ID thing was optional, so always gave my poling card with my drivers license at the same time. Cant recall if they've checked it every time

Don't recall ever having rolled up at a polling station in bike kit but I have been asked for ID on a couple of occasions while in civvies. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see a pattern in the optional though seeing as how most peoples concept of biking is imparted by Hollywood.

You're right, I've seen what it's like in Hollywood on a Sunday morning, no wonder we get a bad rep. :pac:

You're not much of a biker, then, are you? :pac:

I actually didn't get ID'd today. Turned up on the bike but the usual old git was working at a different table for once.
