IE8 and Talk to Tesco Mobile forum

This is a really strange issue.
My work laptop only has IE8 browser, and we cannot install any others.

I can post perfectly on most forums (or is it fora), but on the Talk to Tesco Mobile, I could be in the middle of typing a sentence and while typing, the curser jumps back, highlights one letter and erases it!. This happens every 4 or 5 keypresses.

My keyboard and mouse are fine, and this issue does not occur in any other forum.

Is there some script running in the background on this forum which may be incompatible with IE8?

    Thanks,
    dilallio

Sounds like malware - I'd suggest running malwarebytes to clean it but if you aren't allowed install a real browser like chrome then you probably can't install it.

Mine is also a work laptop and is also clean -we don't have admin access and cannot even install add-ons.

I tried another talk-to forum and the issue is also there. It doesn't happen on any of the regular forums.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
