Depends on who attacks behind on last climb and how much energy you have .....

    Rolland Arredondo, Quintana, Pozzo ????

Jaysus I was sure those parallel grates on the road there would bring someone down Luas-track style!

Orica down to 3, Mitch Docker also DNF'd today. Only Santaromita, Tuft and Hepburn left.

If this break last the 2 Sky boys are the ones to watch fro any other rider

Think they need to push on a bit as next climb harder and longer

What would Nico's chances be if he was to hang in at the front with a few kms to go?

So there's 8km left to the top of this climb, then 30km of descent, and then they go up the final climb (12km long).

Hondo and Frapporti being dropped off the back

Lots of attacks coming off the peloton but it looks like OPQS will mark them.

Did they just say Majka is adrift from the main peloton?

I hope it's not another classic Nico fake attack

I would have waited to attack until final climb

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,755 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Maybe he reckons he can get enough of a gap on the decent?

Nope, it's for real this time! This is not a drill. He's made a decent gap too.

God he's sucking air! Am I imagining it, but is Nico carrying a bigger gut that last year at the Vuelta?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,755 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Is he over the climb yet?

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 14,526 Mod ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

He has 11 seconds gap to the original breakaway. Starting the descent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 173 ✭✭Swamp3

Did he forget there's a 12k climb to come at the end?

Hmm only 10 second ahead of the group. A lot of effort for not a lot of time.
