    hi I have a level 7 degree in electronics. I would like to get into Java developing and wondering if anyone knows any online courses. I don't think it's necessary to start first year again, I'm thinking maybe modules or something aimed at people with a third level qualification maybe if they exist? cheers

    You have the option in most Institutes of Technology to do a one year add-on, to bring you up to Level 8 in computer science.

    There would be a lot of overlap between electronics and computer science, so I wouldn't imagine that would be an issue.
