Can you correct the removal of the terminal bud

    Accidently pruned of the terminal bud on my shrub and was wondering can this be corrected ie are ther fertilisers that can encourage upwards rather than outwards growth that will now occur with the terminal bud gone like are there auxin sprays that allow you to replace the auxin lost from the terminal buds loss and thus encourage a branch to grow higher

    Er, no. But chances are that one of the new shoots will turn itself into a terminal bud and grow upwards.
