Transfers so far seem to be going with the locality and not the party.

Elections and transfers always fascinate me, I did some statistical analysis in the past into transfers (I'm a geek) and it's amazing the power the presiding officer has in deciding on the winners of elections. Ennis town vote looks to be too dispersed with too many candidates, smarter campaigns ran by some of the rural candidates to get elected.

By the way the Clare People have an ok update stream as well http://www.clarepeople.com/2014/05/24/live-clare-local-election-count-2014/ a couple of twitter feeds to keep you updated also are https://twitter.com/clarepeople and https://twitter.com/clarechampion

I might head down to the west for a pint in a while, usually a great session down there

Full recount going ahead for Shannon, that'll take a while, Ennis seems to be getting interesting at this stage, over half the councillors who get in mightn't reach the quota,

The Clare champion did excellent job on the local election coverage. Aertel was absolutely useless, you had no option but listen to rte TV to hours of Timmy Dooley make an ass of himself against Sinn Fein and Socialists on the TV panel.
Tommy Dooley should do a FAS course on Mirco and Macro economics, so that he would know how to engage in a TV debate on the economy.
We need educated TD's in Clare !
Salesmen are out academics are in.....

I'd say any of the candidates would have that info from their Tallymen. The Champion may have it as well but may not have the space to publish that much detail.
