Is it too late to seed a lawn now? Most sources say to sow in early autumn or late spring due to favourable ground conditions.

Should be absolutely fine ! Unless we get a heat wave in the next couple of weeks . I seeded 10 days ago and it seems to be doing ok

Also seeded a lawn 10 days ago and it's coming along fine, plenty heat and moisture in the soil over the past week or so has helped it.

May and September recommended as the best months for sowing lawn seed. Better put out some form of bird scarring system though.
