Was there a monetary loss? I'm pretty sure there needs to be one.

You can't take SCC for bad service.

I had a successful claim years ago over a faulty laptop. About 6 weeks after I filled out and sent off the forms, I got a letter saying it wouldn't be contested and to expect a cheque which I got within 2 weeks.

You can only use the small claims court to enforce your consumer rights.

I sued a certain mobile company for failing to provide service, they did not respond at all to the summons and I won in default. They still wouldn't pay so sent the sheriff to their swanky offices to seize goods, a cheque was issued within 10 minutes.

How do you go about "sending the sheriff"? Amazing that the company wouldn't pay even after the case!
