I can watch Tag rugby out the window!

Yeah playing tag is good but looking forward to getting back into some contact soon.

Also hopefully will see some Rabo fixtures out today and can get planning one or two little trips to away matches.

Oh the wit! If you look carefully you'll see them handing out lollipops too.

This ****ing weather...! My desk in work is right under the air con so I'm freezing in here. I have my hood up for most of the day. I could use a scarf to be honest. Then I sweat to bits outside. Where's the middle ground?!!

About 5 desks over where the air con isn't directly overhead.

Be thankful you have air con. At least you can do something about being cold. There's only so much you can do about being hot, especially in an office environment......at least it's casual day and I don't have to wear a tie I suppose.

Working from home. On a balcony. With a beer.

    :D

I fully realise this does not help in any way.

Casual day all year round :pac:

I can and will take the aircon for granted. I'm on my 5th cup of tea just to warm myself up. I made the mistake of wearing 3/4 lengths in last week (like everyone else does because they're not right beside the aircon!!)

That said, it's 32 degrees in my apartment right now and that's with all the windows and doors open. Freezing like.

Watching Aussie get thrashed again in the cricket. After years of Absolute Aussie Arrogance when it came to cricket, it's great viewing. Rory McIlroy in a terrible ad with Jensen Button & Jessica Ennis...nothing going right for the young lad at the moment.

They're truly shocking compared to their legendary teams of recent times. I saw a comparison between the Aussie team in 2005 and the 2013 vintage; Clarke is the best batsman in the current Oz team by a laughably massive distance, with Langer, Hayden, Ponting, Gilchrist in 2005 Clarke was arguably the 5th best batsman in that team. That's before you get to Lee, McGrath, Warne..

I do have to feel some sympathy with Aussie sports fans at the moment...

Just flicked on the closing round of the British Open. Nowadays, it's ABT for me (anyone but Tiger). Westwood seems to be blowing another lead...again. Adam Scott is right in the mix, so maybe Aussie will have something to cheer about.

Well I'm 28 if that's of any help to you! Old enough not to have a scooby about any of the festivals or types of music talked about over the last few pages (or that could just be my chronic lack of coolness rather than my age).

    33 + uncoolness = similarly ignorant.

+1. I really can't see the rugby interest in it. There's more interesting topics for this forum. Same sort of stories pop up in NZ rugby circles from time to time, and it's rather "yawn, move on" for me.
