Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've neglected the team a little but cast my eye over the waiver wire today and made some adjustments. And 20 points to kick off the weekend is a nice start. But I'm still anticipating a close one

I'm taking a Kidney circa 2009 style managerial approach this weekend :P

I'd be very surprised if Elvery's rugby store at the top of Dawson Street didn't have it.

Watching the half time pundits is hilarious since I know next to nothing about GAA. I don't know what they're talking about. I know nothing to the extent that I barely know the rules... :o

This is a horrifically shoite match to be fair

I know nothing about the game too, how do you get the ball off someone legally?? Dublin are fouling virtually every time a Mayo player runs with the ball

Supposedly with a hand block or a shoulder, these rugby like tackles are a new thing in the game that haven't yet seemed to have been ruled on.

Yeah he has a hint of the Delons about him alright

In my limited experience a lot of GAA players seem to be very spiky characters

O'Gara is the only Dublin footballer I've met. Sat beside him at an awards do. He seemed a bit mad

The RTE commentator sounds like Cary Grant. Just saying.

I went to school with Diarmuid Conolly (though a couple years ahead) He was an...interesting character.

Bittersweet win. I'm actually feeling sad for Mayo, they blew it with their wides in the first half. Also rather annoyed as I had backed over 38 points and those wides cost me money

Mayo and Clermont supporters should share tips on dealing with consistent disappointment.

Was just going to say that, in GAA terms Mayo = Clermont

Jesus, watching the United game so I said I'd have a look at the match thread there. If anyone thinks our match threads are bad I'd suggest a look

Aye things can get just a little bit 'heated' over there at times, I'd say the lads who mod over there have their computers blowing up with all that goes on in those match threads.

You can tell the difference immediately when some of the soccer regulars come over to the rugby forum from time to time, usually just to have a dig or stir the pot. That's the problem when the sport is so popular, threads here get progressively worse from low level Rabo games -> big H Cup games -> international games, the Ireland games being the pinnacle for shíte stirring

Dublin were very cynical at the end of that game. Was a pretty boring game.

Spending my stag dressed in full Munster kit at the Sportsground. Ugh. Fierce abuse from the Ulster fans.

When I sober up it's going to hurt.

Had a quick squizz at the goals, the United "defending" for City's 3rd & 4th was amateurish at best.
