Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't quite understand people closing accounts tbh. Yeah grand don't log on for a while and give the place a wide berth, but you don't have to close your account to do that.

A bit of rebranding never hurt anyone. Maybe I'll kill this account off and raise from the ashes as a vehemently anti-McCafferty Munster fan? Who knows.

(It definitely won't happen, I need to outpost Thomond before I can consider it)

See, I can never see who previous posters were. Sometimes you know they are a re-reg if they say stuff that shows there were around before their join date but can't tell who they were. Unless its obvious like Fishooks12 becoming Fishooks13 and then Trouttrout.

I like rereg's to be honest. I dislike when I pigeon hole certain posters so when new people come along, its a new slate. It's very difficult to not pigeon hole people, I try to be objective as possible. I have put some posters on ignore for brief periods though...

Apparently he was a heroin addict, which I didn't know.

Personally I find it hard to fathom how millionaires can end up addicted to heroin, very sad regardless.

Since when has drug addiction been about wealth status?

The scary thing is he has three kids the same age as my youngest three.

Heroin is such a nasty dirty drug.

The Broncos have been awful. Really don't want the Seahawks to win.

Seattle racing out ahead but big leads have been known to be overturned in big finals. Denver need to avoid another 3 and out/turnover here though

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,334 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

I think a 15 point comeback would be one of the largest in SB history. Here's hoping though. The hawks are just so unlike able. Bloody good team though.

I went to bed at half time.

I was always pretty confident that whoever won the NFC Championship game was going to take the SB, though I didn't expect it to be that one-sided.

Still, by the nature of the set-up for the playoffs the SB often isn't the best or most competitive game. There has actually been an impressive run of excellent superbowls since the first Pats-Giants one.

Ye, the NFC was certainly stronger alright. I just really dislike the seahawks, nothing went right from the Broncos from that early disaster safety. Seahawks defence are something else though, amazingly quick.
