Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Boojum you mean?

It's alright. Burritos are too big, I can never finish the things. :(

I've been living on burritos for the past year. Can't get enough of them. So quick to pick up and so filling. They all taste exactly the same though

    ah **** ya, boojum!

My friends are addicted. I think it's tasty and reasonably priced but that would be about it

And god almighty it annoys me how small the Dublin premises is!

The one in Dublin is in a rubbish place.

Just filled my 50 burrito loyalty card for the free shirt last week!

I always go for the burrito bowls and it's pretty much faultless, in my eyes.

Burritos and blues is terrible, tolteca is acceptable and I've not been to pablos yet :(

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    I really want a burrito now :(

    Has anyone played Bioshock Infinite?

Haven't bought a game in yonks, but loved the original and it looks great!

It's a good game though it's very different in style and atmosphere from the original two. If you can get it cheap enough than I'd say go for it.

Keeping with the burrito theme, I just had a pablos on the way to my refereeing course. Sweet baby Jesus it's amazing. Must try a boojum sometime!

Its a beautiful game. Rich story and pretty cool setting. If you liked the original you'll love it. Just take time to listen to all the audio logs and you'll really get sucked in.

Cheers lads, ye had a look at a few reveiws now and I think i'll drop into town after work tomorrow and get it. Original probably had the best story and atmosphere in a game i've played, really like the look of the pseudo americana paradise setting in this one!

I preferred the setting of the original and I think Bioshock 2 was the most fun (cause honestly, who gets tired of drilling people to death) but the story in Infinite is absolutely top class.

If you're not watching it yet, people seem to like the new ep.... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2790174/

There is a 7 minute single shot scene at one stage. Amazing stuff

It's one of the most impressive shows I've seen in a long while. First three episodes blow the last season of bb out of the water, currently watching the fourth

True Detective is on HBO and they are fairly set in their business model. You have to pay their cable package and you have to live in the states.

Erm... there are other methods to watch new TV shows which I cannot discuss :o

Just finished watching episode 4. Only 4 episodes in and it's one of my favourite tv series. The way it's shot is epic, the acting is top notch and Mathew Mcconaughey's character is perfect. It really is a special bit of TV.

Quite frankly, that's the only way to watch a good series like this.

With the exception of GOT I have to wait on everything to end season wise before watching it or I just get driven bat sh*t crazy !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

Yeah I usually wait til a series is finished before watching it, but True Detective had just aired and we were bored, once you see one episode you can't wait for the next. :P

Hit boojum for lunch and went with the quac in my bowl. Not a fan of coriander (it tastes like soap to me), but it definitely added to the overall amazeyballsness of it all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

It's a winner. Chicken, veg, mexican rice, guac and jalepenos is my weapon of choice. Especially on weight days! Fills you up for the day.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I got a big mouthful of coriander last night eating mine and I was wondering where that came from.

It's ok, but it does taste soapy.

It's weird the way some people taste soap when they taste coriander. I don't get it at all.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 6,524 Mod ✭✭✭✭dregin

It's a genetic thing. Same as cucumber and celery. You can either taste it really strongly or not at all.

I love coriander - essential for my burritos anyway!

Coriander is the business. Would put it in everything if I could. Only other herb close to it is parsley and that's mostly because he was a very friendly lion.

Parsley is awful. Please name a dish it enhances. I can't think of any. In particular parsley added to mash potato is just terrible.

Hmmm. Children's television was different in NZ I am beginning to suspect.

Once when I had a couple friends over for dinner I was making bruschetta for starters. I had cut up the tomato and had some cider vinegar and basil set aside. I asked my gf to mix it all up and serve it on top of the bread. She cut up a pile of coriander and mixed it up with the tomato. I only noticed when I opened the fridge and saw the perfectly untouched basil.

    She had one job!!
