The new voice of Solid Snake is Keifer Sutherland! If David Hayter wasn't available, Sutherland isn't a bad replacement! :D

    http://ie.ign.com/articles/2013/06/06/kiefer-sutherland-playing-snake-in-metal-gear-solid-v

Metal Gear Solid 1 remains my favourite game I've ever played, awesome times.

Does anyone here know what I'm talking about here? :o

Been a Metal Gear fan for quite a while now.I came into it late, the first one I played was MGS2,got it in a bundle with my PS2.I had no idea what was going on or who all these people they were talking about were (Grey Fox?Shadow Moses?) and I also completely skipped the tanker section for about two years somehow.

As much as I love Hayter and will always consider his voice to be Snake's voice,he really wasn't that good once you got past grunting and screams of agony.Sutherland as a young Big Boss will be great.

Have you played Metal Gear Rising?I've watched a Let's Play of the first level and although it's nothing like any other MGS titles,it looks like a solid action game.

Probably my favourite moment/twist between any video game or tv series I've seen. Ah the memories! :)

I loved the bit where you had to unplug your controller and out it in port 2 to confuse psycho mantis!

On the plot twist point, I don't play too much nowadays compared to my teenage years, but I recently played Bioshock and it was one of the best plots going, really good story and there is a twist in there that had me hook line and sinker, jaw hit the floor when it panned out!

Have you played MGS4?There's a great bit in a boss fight near the end where they played around with all the techniques for fighting Mantis.

Bioshock is the spiritual successor to the System Shock series, and the plot of System Shock 2 also revolved around your main guide not being who you think they were.

The way the "I am SHODAN" line is delivered is just fantastic.

I haven't played System Shock but I was aware hey were linked, it looks great, without even playing the game that sequence left a bit of an impression!

Without spoiler-ing I felt the mechanic of Bioshock, making you genuinely feel like you were a pawn all along was just fantastic, must get around to the sequel and the most recent one soon!

Does that mean you'll support Leinster? :P

Deadlines looming, means I'm the most productive!! Thankfully the sunshine is fading so I won't feel so bad sitting indoors when everyone else is enjoying the sun.

Aye if I get it I'll be here for a while alright!

Been out in Dublin a rake of times but never been to coppers, more of a workmans/twisted pepper man. GF lives in Dublin too, so it may not be a good idea to go to coppers going on the stories I've heard :D

You've never been to coppers? Going there is a rite of initiation for anyone living in Dublin.

And that's the important part there. As a Dubliner, I'd agree. Go in there after a big GAA game though with two teams that aren't Dublin and you'll have a 50m queue to get in!

wife is back in work today after her maternity leave. Going to be weird for baby not having one of us around all the time now. Quite sad about it, especially after an impromptu week off last week to spend with them.

Work is just so unnatural, I reckon if we all agree to quit work simultaneously and get rid of currency we can restart society.

I'll be King, naturally of course.

I think I've had too much rum.

    1) He posts about attaching pictures of rum he is drinking and a beach
    2) He attaches nothing

    Twelvetrees
    twelve threes
    12 (3s)
    12 * 3 = 36

    would've thought it was obvious!
