Best of luck with it, D. The imperial version of this was my first introduction to P&D in 2013. I really enjoyed the plan and got the result I was looking for so hopefully you will have the same outcome on both fronts ;)

BTW I have it in spreadsheet form if haven't done it already and want it, drop me a PM with your email address.

Thanks Mark, now if I'd only known before I made up my own fancy spreadsheet :p

Best of luck D will be on official supporting duties with Anna in Boston so looking forward to the progress reports. :)

    All the very best D.
Does this mean you're not running to the club tomorrow then? I know how you trust in the plan but since you've already amended Saturday I thought I might as well ask.

No, I'll be running over as usual unless it's bucketing down. I've built that in to my amended week 1 already. :p Spar at 6:15 if you're coming!

Heh heh, the mind games are working already. Still planning your track return tomorrow night? See above if you're into an extended warmup.

    Mon 14 Dec

    Rest

    Tue 15 Dec

    Pyramid 400 (60), 800 (75), 1200 (90) x 2, 800 (75), 400

Jogged over to the club again with aquinn and Bungy Girl for some last-minute speedwork before Saturday's timed event. Damp conditions but not too windy for a change. The session was called and away we went. I joined the usual group, one that it's a challenge to keep up with but not so much that they completely get away. As usual with this session I found it easy enough till about a third of the way through the first 1200 and it was a bit of a slog from there to the last 400 by which time I'd recovered somewhat and felt pretty good. My pace for these reps are supposed to be 1:30-1:35 (400), 3:08-3:17 (800), and 4:47-5:08 (1200). As usual I just went with the flow and looked at the numbers later.

    1:30 3:09 4:59 5:02 3:17 1:24

Happy with that as it's where I'm supposed to be. It wasn't easy but it's not supposed to be either. Jogged home again with the D3 contingent before realising I'd left my glasses trackside. Decided I'd done enough running and took the car over to retrieve them. I really hate being dependent on the specs, which has crept up on me and become a permanent condition. Total for the evening: 13.5 km (8.4 mi).

    WTD: 13 km (8 mi)
    MTD: 93 (58)
    YTD: 2,743 (1,705)

Glad you got the specs back!

Nice splits, see you Saturday (the timed run, remember ?) :D
