Hi all, just wondering where is the best place online to attract or speak to business angels / potential investors?

linked finance seems to be decent enough any other suggestions? what i have to offer is in the medium to short term 3-4 years max for return on investment.

thanks looking forward to all replies!

Irish Investment network would be the most popular..

There are hoops to jump through before any of the angel networks will even answer a phone call or an email.

The first step is you need to be in with Enterprise Ireland and be on their radar, its like a vetting processes for Angels that they request you talk to EI first.

Go to your LEO and get referred to EI or contact them directly

There are some online sites like angel.co, crunchbase.com and gust.com but you will be in the swamp with thousands of others but nothing wrong with having a profile on them.

One thing to note too with any sort of investment is they look at the manager and the team you have around you. If its you and no one else, the chances of investment are slim. But you can build a team of advisors/mentors etc

What stage is your project? Can you bootstrap it to working model? There are feasibility grants available from LEO for ideas..

startupireland.ie is a good site too with a lot of resources.
