Is that a bug or by design?

    Sounds like a feature, tbh.

pretty bad feature, if so tbh. Does it appear back?

You think? Well if you can't access the forum, then it's pointless having it in your My Forum list. That said, if it didn't return after your ban is up you could classify it as a (very minor) bug.

Probably better asking the devs about this in here.

This was definitely an intentional feature because I can recall someone making the exact opposite complaint - they had their access removed from a private forum, but it continued to appear in their subbed list, and because they couldn't access it, they couldn't unsub themselves.

I guess the fix would be to ascertain whether or not the default access on the forum is public or private. If public && ban != perm then do not delete. Otherwise, delete.
