Majka just changed bike at the foot of the hill. Got a lovely push start from his mechanic when back on the road bike. Is this not a bit of a joke? No problem if someone has technical difficulties or crashes and needs to catch up with the Peleton...

But during a TT, when you choose to stop to change bike, should the push start be allowed?

Really dislike riders allowed change bikes during TTs.

Edit: Simon's point above about the push also grates.

That's twice now that Kelly has thrown out a suggestion that Bardiani are going to have some questions asked of their performances. When Pirazzi took nearly 2 minutes off the best time it was..."interesting", "interesting indeed"......now he thinks that they are serving really strong coffee to Zardini..... :)

Majka got pushed half way up the mountain during the bike change

@RealStephens - Uran's bike change from getting off until the point the mechanic stopped pushing took only 14.68 seconds.. @robhatch @giroditalia #stats

He's also gained about 17 seconds so far on Quintana

Whoever let Quintana out in those overshoes should be arrested.

Compared to other riders like Rolland, they seem to be showing Cadel Evans a lot more than his place in the reckoning merits.

What a moron getting in Uran's way.

Quintana has the ability to dominate grand tours for a long time, that's scary good.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,630 ✭✭✭pelevin

Incredible on these mountain stages how few incidents there are with the spectators. Imagine a few mad Irish ex-priests littering the hillsides. . . .

Not sure his TTing is up to it. Froome puts minutes into him and climbs on a par.
