Can anyone recommend one? I want to experiment a bit before committing serious cash?

Lidl do reasonably cheap honey, but it is from "EU and non-EU sources". That means China and there were some issues around Chinese honey recently if memory serves.

It might mean China alright, but maybe not.
If the Chinese (or whatever) honey is sufficiently diluted, it's ok.
It can be offered for sale as the lead or chloramphenicol or other carcinogens levels per gram will be low enough.

DEEMED OK, I meant to say. It is deemed to be ok once diluted enough.

could also mean Turkey like where other premium honey brands also source their wares.
