What happened, following on phone through this thread?????

Fan went to give Bongiorno a "helping hand" , missed, clipped his back wheel and caused him to unclip and drop back from Rogers while the 2 of them were @ the head of the race.

    Many stupid fans out there..

Poels was way outta line tho IMO, had that person hindered Uran further up? Because he was no where that close to Poels in fairness

An idiot tried to push Bongiorno and Bongiorno nearly ended up in the back of Rogers. Bongiorno had to clip out and he lost all momentum.

The idiot is still getting in the way.

if a lad runs on the pitch during football/rugby game and disrupts proceedings, he'd get arrested no? its nuts how much intrusion the fans can get away with.

What a mountain, amazing scenes at the end. New entry for the bucket list for sure. But for when I drop about 70kg.

Delighted for Rogers, bummer for Nico but chapeau to him for clinging on and grinding out an excellent 4th.

Death penalty for the gimp in the World Champ jersey. Or Bongiorno should at least get to give him a good square boot in the Jimmy

I'd puke into that bucket if I had to go up that.

I am going to be controversial but I think the Angrliu is harder ...its longer and has more switch backs that are steeper

Brilliant ride by Rodgers but Roche should have been up there tbh
He is supposed to be leader of the team

    Ok...who says I am a man ??

And I know it sounds hard but I know he can do better otherwise I wouldn't bother

(maybe there is an element of Roy Keane about me :D)

True. But sadly he just can't climb when things get steep. From what I can see is the winner is the lad that does the least during the stage and Roche(and Deignan) is always more than willing to do his share of the work. He is then fecked when the pace goes up or the mountain gets steeper. He is just too nice and not ruthless enough.

I enjoyed that today but a little underwhelmed.. maybe if the battle for pink was closer it would have been better. also after 3 weeks nobody has the energy to put big attacks in etc..

I agree with you. Maybe it was a bit over hyped

The Angriliu stage at laste years Vuelta was more spectacular in my book

It looks like Philip Deignan suffered today. He finished 131st, 25min 8sec behind the winner.

All 156 riders that started today managed to finish the stage.
