just on area measurement. the phone apps are not accurate so dont go telling a farmer its a 5 acre field and it may be 4.5 or 5.5 acres. they give a general enough guide but dont rely on accuracy as they will be a meter or two out anyway.

found this android one easy to use, uses google map images and you can put it on auto so you drive around the field or you can put it on manual and plot the points and then move them after. you can save each area then also. it does linear measurements also. id imagne they are all about the same for accuracy. the trimble connected farm a bit cumbersome to use.

also came across this and downloaded it. there is a feature to calculate the foward speed you should do to get x amount of slurry per acre

They may not be 100% but to be honest I've found them to be as accurate as the trimble 250 easy guide in the tractor, it all depends how well you set out the points.

I suppose the big thing is if your in the ball park area, i know of a good few lads that would tell you its an 8 acre field if your mowing or turning but when it comes to spraying suddenly its a 10 acre.....

The acreage usually depends on if your buying or selling :D
