Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm just wondering because I'm applying for the HEAR scheme and I don't think I will get the 425 points required and I really want to do this course. Do many people apply for the multimedia course and do you think many of them apply through the HEAR scheme?

I guess it's pretty popular, the points have risen ever year since 2008, but dropped a bit last year. It'll rise by no more that 5 this year I'd assume.

With HEAR, you'll get it as long as you're over 300 to be honest. I know people who've been brought up 160 points by HEAR, it's a great thing. See something like 5-10% of places on a course are reserved for people on HEAR, so if you score anywhere above 360 points, I think you'll get the course for sure on HEAR, and still think if you achieve 300+, you'll probably get it with HEAR. But it does depend.
