    Ridiculous stuff...
    Streets closed off by guards and fire brigade...
    All down to a celebration of a sinn fein rep being elected.
    Spoke to a member of the fire brigade who said 'it was a false alarm that they had to take seriously'

    I remember something like that happened up in Lisduggan years ago. Someone stole a suitcase from a car, panicked, dropped it on the ground and before you know it, someone else had rang the guards claiming it was a bomb. The whole placed was sealed off and the army lads were called down to make the 'bomb' safe.
