hey guys were renting the house were in since Nov and havent had any major problems, but friday night garden shed was broken into bikes, bbqs, gas and camping equitment they even robbed the dogs house :O We reckon they hopped our wall as we are the end house and than cut the lock to our side gate and got out that way. We have rang the guards theyve been out and so have foreinistics crowd and we have also rang the auctioneer to ask him make the LL aware of the issue. Im without a doubt aware nothing will come of it but im just wondering is the LL responible for replaceing the items which total in over 1200e or am i just better off leaving it be

They are your contents. You are responsible.
All the landlord has to do is repair the shed.

Your house contents insurance will cover this, assuming you have it.

Why on earth would the LL be responsible?
