The latest version of those SSDs are much slower than they used to be :

I'd look at the crucial m500 as an alternative and it's marginally cheaper.

You could also get the cx500m as a modular alternative to the be quiet.

The rest looks good though it should be a well balanced machine.

Thanks i switched it out :).
I went for the be quiet due to it being extremely quite, is the cx500 the same?

Actually the be quiet is a better choice in that case, the cx500m seems to be a fair bit noisier under full load.

Would you consider 15 euro extra to upgrade the case from sharkoon to the antec one.

No point buying the be quiet, for its noise under load then putting it and all your parts in the sharkoon. The antec one, has one of the best cooling/noise performance benchmarks for the price. Is a lot more builder friendly too.

I know its tough on a budget but I feel a decent case is a good investment.

Yeah but he likes the side panel with Sharkoon was thinking to throw a red fan in there to make it nice and slik?

    Hi Folks,

I'm looking to upgrade the above build, I have purchased a GTX 1070TI, I was thinking I should also buy some extra RAM & possible CPU upgrade?

    Any thoughts?

    Much love.
    Ringo.

CEX will sell you an i7-4790 for €130.
Pair with another stick of 8Gb RAM for dual-channel and you're golden.

Thanks fam, would I see much of a difference between the two CPUs?

For big multiplayer games the extra thread-count can definitely help.
If you're unsure though, just get the RAM to start & see how your library holds up.
