Selling firearms

Hi, Does anybody know what is the best way to sell a shotgun and an air rifle.
Also does it have to be licenced to sell it?

You may sell them privately via word of mouth or using the for sale section here (once you have the necessary posts, pictures, etc) or you may trade them into a dealers for other firearm or lastly store them in a dealers to sell them for you.

If your licenses are due to expire you can store them in a firearms dealer so you do not have to renew the licenses. This means he can sell them for you (probably for a percentage) but you may not take them back out without a license. The RFD is not allowed to hand out the guns, even to you, without a license.

If you don't wish to use a dealer then you must have a valid license for however long you will be in possession of the guns.
