Yes. Every dust particle on a booklet is minus one mark. This is clearly stated in the marking schemes each year, regardless of subject or level. Every examiner has severe hay-fever, some have asthma, so as you can imagine dust is taken very seriously. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear.

Is 3 and a half pages enough for the essay if it was good quality? I wrote 3 for the Part B so feel I may have balanced them poorly.

It also depends on the size of your writing :P

For question 2 part b i wrote about how you shouldn't be influenced by people around you and you shouldnt do something that you dont want to do. I also said your parents are good influences. Is that alright do ye think??

I couldn't think of the house that the president lives in or something related to the house of the TD, so I wrote to Bono and made up an address on grafton street :pac:

I said the same and friends and teachers and also abit on celebrities and their influence. 3 and half pages.

How much did ye write in total? I got down 11. 3 and a half for qA on text 1, 3 and a half for qB and 4 for the "exotic and beautiful ordinary things" essay.

Overall i though it was a very handy paper

For the class talk i did 2.5 pages for the essay i did 3.5 pages and for the comprehensions i did 2.5. Do u think wat i wrote in the class talk is alright?

I wrote pretty much the same things for both those questions - whoops! Yeah, I interpreted them as the same question, it was really unclear, but surely they can't not give more marks just for thinking the same thing for two questions, can they?
