    It's brightening up here now.

Actually, when I type in weather on Google, I get the outlook of the weather over the few days or so. But, for 17:00 today, and for this neck of the woods, it's saying thunderstorm? Currently, it's light showers.

    Heavy rain/hail now in Clondalkin.

Some nice rotation went on in what just passed over here in South Kildare before the rain of the shower arrived. Potential funnel too, but it got sucked up into the cloud base so quick I wouldn't know for sure, but the rotation of the area was evident for a few minutes after.

Great shots. I got my timing wrong I arrived in abbeyleix as it all kicked off so was right over head in torrential rain. Still got a good show though.

I was away all day and just got home as it approached, managed to get a good viewing spot and seen some nice forks.
It fizzled out fairly quick as it came near but it was good while it lasted.

Here's a quick vid of a few flashes but the best flash came down just as I was getting the phone out so didn't get it on camera.

I just saw the lightning with regards to that thunder a few minutes ago.

Just coming out Friars Walk and down towards the church and there was this bolt of fantastic fork lightning that shot from right to left within the cloud in front of us.

Totally unexpected, but delighted to see it.

Yup, it was a fast one.

I think only for the fact that we were coming down the hill and looking straight at it, we wouldn't have seen it at all.

    Delighted though. Love it.

    I want more now..lol

Should have been a show in the very near past, more on the way [possibly] a big cell over head heading your way.

Got a fantastic view of the City myself.

Going by your name though, we're at the opposite sides.

Great to be up high getting the view we do.
