    Hi all

Changed the bag in our Philips Expression hoover the other day and it's lost all suction. Can't work out what is wrong, everything is where it should be, have checked all the parts.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? Philips guy on live chat says it's generally cos the bag is not placed in right, but it looks to be.

    thanks

Have you suction with the hose disconnected?

We can feel the suction at the filter bit, but the hose connected or disconnected makes no difference?

Have you tried leaving the filter bag out and see have you suction? Some hoovers wont close without a bag but you can easily push in the plastic bit that the bag moves to close it.

Yep tried that but no change. Think will have to find someone to have a look at it. Thanks sir Arthur

One more thing you can try, take out the bag and try it. Dont go hoovering dust just run it without the hose. Just thinking there some non genuine bags have a cap you must take off. Give that a try.
