Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I've a Baratza Maestro grinder and its on the blink. I've done all the troubleshooting stuff to get it working again but to no avail.

I've rang a couple of places around town to try and get it fixed but no one seems to service the Baratza make in Dublin.

In brief, the problem is that the grinder doesn't work when you put the beans in. It could be the grinder needs to be replaced but I fear it may be the motor.

If anyone knows anywhere that services this make in Dublin, I'ld be very grateful.

    Thanks, C.

Marco in Sandyford should be able to repair but it will cost you.

Does it grind fine without beans? I'd say its a drive gear replacement. You mention you've done the troubleshooting stuff - but just in case you missed their US site then this is very handy:

Buying the parts directly from Baratza in the US is quite reasonable: https://www.baratza.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&category=PBMP

I has trouble with my Virtuoso grinder and tech support on Baratza were very good quick reply to email's and fast postage. It is most likely the gear striped and easy enough to fix, I did mine and also upgraded the burrs as well.
