Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does this mean they're out then :D

    Not quite. ;)

But if indeed England go out, then don't be surprised if "Three Lions" is re-recorded (again) for Euro 2016 in France, when it'll be fifty years of hurt... :D;)

Just because the LLS is finished for the summer is no reason not to post
pics of moggies and mutts, CountyH.
We must'nt let standards slip. The country needs us, and we can't let them down.
I would happily post pics myself but I don't know how.

If all the RTE presenters were dressing up as Marvel Comic characters I can only presumed Tubridy came as Batman's arch nemisis

Do you remember when Tubs gave Paul Rudd the Ireland jersey when he was plugging Anchorman 2 on the LLS?

    anchorman-2-cast-on-late-late-5-630x332.jpg

He kept the jersey, and he wore it when he went on a stag in Donegal. Although he forgot who gave him the shirt ...

Arrah, sure didn't the BBC say the Wolfe Tones had the greatest song ever
An Irish republican song, A Nation Once Again, has been voted the world's top tune according to a BBC World Service poll.

Oh brilliant.. thanks for that Atlantic.... I was gonna download that movie (after listening to the repeat of the Gerry Conlon interview with Marion last week), that will save me the bother..

I shall be playing the following drinking game... Down a shot every time I hear the phrase "I'm an innocent man"...

I found an odd clip during the week (on a 1990 edition of Saint and Greavsie)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdkT2SVg814&t=22m20s

Andy Townsend and Ronnie Whelan taking the piss out of Colm Murray at the 1990 World Cup with the Ireland Supporters

I think it shows Colm's sense of humour well, he took it in good spirit. Sadly missed, RIP.
