    I haven't read them myself but if in doubt I would always go for publication order.

    Series like Asimov's Foundation books, Card's Ender's Game series and Pratchett's Discworld all have differing reading/chronological orders but I think you can't go wrong with the publication order.

    If for example the fifth book in a series is a prequel and you read it first (as it's chronologically first) then you may be missing out on lots of references and character development relating to the other books.

    Thanks, Yep, that's the way I was originally going and still plan to for now, but I then read somewhere that it may make more sense, or is best to read them in fictional Chronology. :confused:

    Ah, I guess I'll stick to publication order unless I hear otherwise.
