Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not if it costs us 3 points today, it was a wreckless tackle from Azp

Is it just me or do streams seem to lag just as a goal goes in or is being replayed more often than not?

Not resigning Cesc will be wengers biggest mistake!!!

Straight red, wreckless tackle, slightly late.

Delaney sent off for 2 yellows, both deserved.

Ya, 7 assists and a league goal so far, is pretty good and all for 30million.

    LOL at Warnock

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Draw at Arsenal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

11 pts clear of the gunners.

    11 pts clear of spurs

    Same gap to City

Utd & Pool yet to play, 11 clear of utd, 12 clear of Pool.

anything short of a win today would have been unjustified for us.

Nearvy ending by all accounts, arsenal lucky to get a point but I taught at the end they would nick it.

Not really, just gave away a sloppy goal, it was never really in doubt after our 2nd

Just back from the pub after watching the game , good performance, matic and fabregas ran the midfield, 2 great goals , sloppy by luis for their goal , 2 definite sendings offs , arsenals season over

    Oscar good too.

Luis was ok until the goal but Azp wouldnt have been beaten by Zaha for the cross.

11pts is a huge difference alright.

Lack of match practice was clearly a problem for Luis, although I think he'll be excellent given a run of games.

Ya its gonna be great to see him getting a run in the league.

He's such an amazing player to have stepping in for Dave and I reckon he could end up staking a very decent claim for a permanent position in the starting XI, maybe pushing Brana or Cahill onto the bench. (Cahill has been very out of sorts so far this season and I always think he's dodgy without JT's presence - could be moved on when JT retires if he can't get his shït together.)

Amazed Fàbregas avoided a red today as well. Stupid carry on after Dave's mess up. I know tempers were up but he went overboard and could've seen red at which point we probably would have lost either way.

I'm still not convinced Dave deserved a straight red but I seem to be alone on that point so I'll leave it.

Hazard is facing the problem of being fouled every time he gets the ball. Imo, he's strong enough to be able to keep on his feet for a lot of those challenges and should be doing so. He's not going to progress as aplayer if he keeps playing for free kicks and he has the potential to be one of the world's best.

Courtois still hasn't settled into his Chelsea jersey. He had the best distribution stats in the world last season but his distribution was mediocre again today.

Remy played brilliantly today. He wasn't quite playing through the middle and in fairness, he wasn't getting great service when he did play 9 but I've no worries that he'll get some decent goals for us this year and hopefully the next few.

Deserved 3 points, 2-1 makes it look closer than it was in the end.

start of the game Palace had 2 decent chances we went 1-0 from an excellent free kick and then we dominated.

Azp made a stupid tackle, Delaney 2 silly fouls.

!0 men each, from that point we dominated and Cesc scored a beautiful team goal, we had about 70-75% of the ball for the 2nd half, they didnt threaten until the 90th minute goal but we were never going to lose the game in truth.

Good 3 points before we go to Old Trafford

He was woeful in the first half today, I like Cahill he has been brilliant all season, he's just prone to having the odd shocker.

Looking forward to the extended highlights on sky tonight, just unfortunate that Southampton and Sunderland will most likely be game of the day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Whats scary is we havemt found our defensive rhythm yet.

When it clicks we'll be unstoppable IMO.

Even without Costa we managed to get 3 points, last year these kind of games we lost and we did.

Hazard must haven been close to double figures for fouls on himself, he gets kicked nearly every time he picks the ball up.

Im happy with courtois he saved 2/3 efforts today that would have killed us.

Hazard is going to be a world class player that will be over marked by other teams. Sorry, he is a world class player and is already being over marked. He will draw in defenders/tackels/frees and leave a forward free to attack, a bit like suarez last season. He has to man up and adapt to the role. Personally, I think he is nearly there.

I think he needs to do "more" but he is a foul magnet and he will get us free and penalties all day.

He has the ability and Jose is testing him but he has a long way to go but hes very young and learning all the time so hopefully he can embrace the challenge and get better and better and improve his numbers.
