Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Although if it was between Oscar and Hazard, I'd be keeping Hazard.

Well they gave us huge money for Luiz, if they want Oscar they'll be stumping up more money so I wouldnt be to bothered if he left.

PSG certainly seem to be playing fast and loose with FFP, interested to see how this summer pans out

If PSG go into the market again, someone has to leave for big money. Cavani and Lavezzi seem like the most likely

Well to comply they will have to but I would have thought for PSG it will be a buyers market. The players are bound to be on very high wages which I expect will influence the purchase price as PSG have played their hand in a large way by signing Luiz so early.

For example if Wiki is to be believed then Lavezzi is on about €144k a week, how much of the transfer fee of €26.5m will they get back for a 29 year old player if he does not take a pay cut?

Sunderland are interested in taking Zouma on loan next season, would be happy with a year on loan in the Premier League for him.

Not sure we have enough CB's to afford Zouma the luxury of a season's loan anywhere. With Luiz gone we are wafer thin as it stands.

the Parisian giants - who have already raided the Chelsea ranks this summer with the signing of David Luiz.

I didn't know that our squad was so thin on the ground that selling one player counts as a raid of our ranks.

Could be relegated next season if things keep going this way.

In the downside it'll probably scupper any chance of a move to Spain.

I hope he gets banned from the WC Id also love to see him banned from the domestic game but it wont happen.

Disagree Gaz that should be a worldwide six month ban, he should only be allowed back after a suitable course of therapy.

FIFA wont ban a south american in a south american WC.

1 time is shocking, 2 shows mental instabikity but 3 times?

No matter how talented he is, it doesnt hide his nature.

If that's the case then those respect armbands and whatnot may as well be put in a pile and burned. That shows so much disrespect to his club as well I would have thought no mind his fellow professionals.

Thats the way suarez is, hes a split second away from a lengthy ban.

The only surprising thing from the Chelsea bite is Ivanovic didnt thump him up and down Anfield, although keeping hi out 12months later and denying him a league is even sweeter.

Over half way through the 64 games at the World Cup, and its been a mixed bag for Chelsea players so far.

Fabregas, Azpilicueta, Torres and Costa (potential player) are on the way home, and in the long run that may be better for us........

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

No Chelsea player has really played well, Oscar has been the pick of the bunch.

Hazard has 2 assists I think.

Anyway, the sooner we get deals done the better, its been reported Utd were told its 40million for Shaw, 40 f**king million for a teenage LB, 30million is madness, 20million is even to much but 40 million?

That would put him as our 2nd most expensive player it would put him as Utds most expensive, absolute madness.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,603 ✭✭✭grumpymunster

Think it is fair to say the Saints dont want to sell Shaw, Kudos to them for that.

Well he has 4 years left on his current deal I'm sure so theres no rush for them to do anything.

I dont think Shaw will try and force a move either and even if he did Southampton ca still name their price, he wont be got for cheap anyway.

I have to say I was a little surprised when we let him go initially but I have to ask why sign Tiago now what is he bringing to the party? His time is long gone so far as the PL is concerned I do hope this is just filibuster

you'd imagine we're covered in midfield plus we've plenty of youth should we end up thin on the ground.
    Baffling TBH.

Waste of time and money bringing in someone like Tiago.

We only need 3 players would they just hurry up buy two strikers and a left back. Then we can sell some of our excess players put our feet up and wait for the Premier League to arrive in SW6 next May

Would ye be confident that the trio of Costa, Lukaku and Torres will be enough to win the league?

1 CF, keep Lukaku, sell Torres/Ba, sorted.
    1 LB,

    Celebrate in May.

Jesus I hope we announce something regarding Costa very soon

I reckon we'd win it with the first two alone and our current squad.

i reckon we'll announce something on or before Monday, just a hunch. ;pac:

As it stands our best options for CF are

    Lukaku
    Ba
    Cesc
    Schurrle
    Training Cone
    Torres

    :pac:
