Zouma was solid, didn't have loads to do really. Matic bossed the midfield so he made everyone's job easier.

I thought Salah had a good game, nice to see someone widen the play a bit and he put in a few inviting balls. Hope he builds on it now in the League Cup.

Schurrle was good too, he has more goals to his game than Willian so I'd like to see him used a bit more too.

Overall positive game, it's nice to be able to rotate and still play well.

Yeah true Salah hasnt really put up a challenge to anyones first team place yet and I think he'l only do that by bagging a few goals... and he always seems to miss a chance or two!

Id prefer schurrle to willian we can all see hes more of a threat but willians performances outside of goals is pretty impressive.

I thought Zouma put in a case to start him Saturday tonight. Really looks to be a fabulous defender. Well able to play the quick ball out wide too keep the momentum going, But his defending in the box is superb and something that is lacking with Cahill. Cahill will throw his body in front of anything but I feel he is suspect in the box and his defensive clearances are usually straight to the other teams striker.

Schurrle put in a good display which was great to see after his recent dip in form. Thought he did well Saturday when he came on too. Another player who staked down his claim, think he'll come off the bench Saturday.

Azpi was fantastic. So clever how he invites the player down the line and takes the ball off him. Turning into one of the best right backs in the world for me, going from strength to strength.

On the contrast Filipe Luis was good going forward but was very very poor defensively. I can see why Jose prefers Ivanvoic and Azpi now. Everything good Lisbon did came down his side.

Matic was outstanding but whats new, Mikel played well and has been more forward thinking when he's played this season and again tonight.

RLC did well. Settled in quick and he excites me. Powerful, Big, Quick and has great technique. Think Jose will mold him, and we haven't been given youth a chance because we've kept sacking managers. With Management Stability more and more players will come through now and hope he is the first of many to break into our first team.

Great win, really looking forward to the weekend now. Couldn't have an easier game then Hull at home at the minute

Actually on Matic, we really missed him big time last weekend.

Shows what a top quality CM can make a huge difference even to our side.

I dont think Schurrle will be coming into the team, or Zouma. Let the usual 11 take care of Hull. And if Schurrle and Zouma continue their good form in the Capital One next week then maybe give them their chance in the next league game.
