Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Id say he will, he's the only forward that's in good form so he can't be dropped

Id happily just take the league title although now we're in the league cup semi final so id like to get to the final of that and get an early trophy under the belt, it may drive the players on to something a hell of lot mlre important ala the FA cup, league or the holy grail, UCL.

#Chelsea XI v Tottenham - Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Costa

    Dont mind City.

Once we get the job done.

    Team is abo e

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    Spurs are

Tottenham XI vs. Chelsea: Lloris, Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Townsend; Kane.

walker in at rb and rose in too.

    Two absolutely terrible FBs, IMO.

    Lampard you P****

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Lampard will do it for city and he owes us nothing after 11 years service.

I hope he still scores goals.

Lets not kid ourselves city wont win the league thanks to lamps goals it will be the returning aguero we wanna watch out for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Its also good that city are shipping goals. If we can win today it will bolster the GD slightly.

Can't complain about Lamps, he was our player and we let him move on, City saw the value in him and have been rewarded on several occasions now.

I'm happy for him so long as he's not responsible for us losing the league.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

He's winning City a lot of points.

Very foolish from the Chelsea hierarchy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    Poor start so far.

    Spurs shading it

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Ridiculous dribble by Hazard for the goal (even if it did look like it went out for a throw-in)

Nice tap in for Diego Costa.

F*ck sake. The second Kane got a goal back I knew we'd fall apart. We're still as f*cking soft as we were last season away from home. Players need a serious wake up call.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Matic and ceac have been s**t at shutting down space.

We wont get back into this game at all, unless spurs have a worse meltdown than us. Unlikely though.

This is highly reminiscent of those games we had last season where we just didn't turn up and ultimately those games cost us the title.

This is just pathetic, Spurs could score about ten. The defence looks ridiculously shaky anytime Spurs come at us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,259 ✭✭✭HalloweenJack

Fabregas looks nothing like the player he's been lately, looks shot of confidence.

My blood is boiling watching this tripe.

Thank you Hazard, we'd be lost without you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,200 ✭✭✭Garzorico

Paying for not being able to kill the game off at 1-0.
The whole team is playing muck. Particularly Willian and the whole defence. Absolute dert. We are making Spuds look like Real Madrid. Kanes a decent player but he looks like Ronaldo against us.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,311 ✭✭✭weiland79

Loosing 5-2 against spurs we don't deserve to win anything. We've been worse than dreadful.

Salah amd ramires miss two sitters. Pretty f**king terrible IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,200 ✭✭✭hots

We've been ****e and they've played their cup final, simple as really. Not sure what remy has to do to get on the pitch, could have made a difference from half time.

Costa, willian and haz did very little but definitely terry, cahill and Ivan should have done far better. Courtois didn't do much although not sure he could have done much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,509 ✭✭✭Killinator

    haz did very little

A bit harsh, he's the only person who at least tried to drag us back into it.

Not even second best today, absolutely dire stuff, hope Mou rips shreds out of them for that, though he could look at himself for bringing Salah on and leaving Willian on for so long and persisting with a woefully out of form Cahill, who quite possibly has a ban coming his way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Hopefully cahills banned itll mean he wont have to be dropped.
