Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

TSHO playing silly buggers with press, asked where Cuadrado will play answered wont be in goal or central defence as he is too small.

    Lol-tastic :pac:

Should start him RB, play Willian ahead of him.

"Why do you think you've never won at Villa Park?" (from Nick Collins) . . .

. . . . "They sometimes score more goals than us, and sometimes the same number of goals as us"

I think I replaced him with Silva who'll probably get more points anyway at home to Hull.

    I think.

Jose has said Zouma and Varane are the two best young defenders in the world. High praise indeed....

Feeling excellent about today. Should be an easy enough win and could see us run up a few goals ala Swansea. Would love to see Remy bag a couple.

That would be nice alright but i can imagine city will do similar damage to hull.

Villa have to score sometime though.

So.....remember when Herrera was seen as a Cesc rival, similar money to sign, both playmaking CM's, one has f**k all Spanish caps.

Of course Herrera is at a similar level to Cesc, well not according to LVG.

Looks like we got the better deal there.
"I have to compare him with people like [Wayne] Rooney and [Juan] Mata, for example, so that's difficult. They all have a high level - he has to improve.

“He's a great guy, he's a very great professional also, so that's not the problem. His problem is that he has to compete with high-level players and Rooney is also the captain, so he has a privilege.

“I have explained that, so then the other places are for positions in this system that we are playing now - the No.10 - and that's Mata, that's [Angel] Di Maria."

So, Herrera is behind Mata, Di Maria and Rooney for a spot. That sounds like Herrera fans are not going to be seeing too much of the £28million Spaniard.

Van Gaal added that the situation was one that Herrera was aware of since the summer and that he was getting better.

“That's difficult to compete with, but that he already knew the moment that he signed for Manchester United - do you understand?

“When you sign for a top club like he did, he knows that he has to fight, but he is fighting. I said to him this week that he was coming back. A lot of weeks he was down [in performance level], but now he is coming back."

Varane will cost serious money. Think he will be worth it. Himself and zouma would be a serious partnership if given time to grow and some coaching by JT.

Every team in Europe will want Varane if Real decide theyre stupid enough to sell him.

Hopefully the Jose factor, if he is leaving, is enough of a draw as they'll all want him, anyone who can afford him.

Himself and Zouma would be an exceptional partnership for a decade.

I'm working this Saturday until 5 I'd say, last time that happened we battered Swansea, I'm hoping for a similar outcome today.

It was always likely we'd have to do without Costa for spells this season due to injury/suspension.

    Remy your time has come

    It'll make MOTD good.

Its good though that Costa will get a rest which is perfect timing for the UCL and the next busy 3 months.

Always a CB, think hes played RB for Real but hes a CB by trade.

Will Yaya and Bony be back for city's game against Stoke on Wednesday?
I can see Stoke putting it 2 them at home if there not!!

The final is tomorrow night so I'd imagine if they win they'll celebrate in Ivory Coast on Monday.

Thats a very quick turn around to get back to Manchester for Wednesday, of course it possible, they may not start but they should be in the squad.

Seriously unhappy with that team but I suppose we've to play Everton on Wednesday but I'd have played Zouma against Benteke, unless hes saving ZXouma to play against Lukaku wednesday.

Hoping for a good reaction from Cahill today.

He probably is fit but again, like Zouma, Remy, hes being kept for the Everton game.

Villa even away in this form, will be a test but the Everton game is more tricky.

Ya, as I said, its decent changes.

    Ramires - Cesc
    Cahill - Zouma
    Drogba - Remy

You'd imagine the latter 3 will all come back in on Wednesday.

Surely Real wouldn't even contemplate selling Varane?

I'd agree with ya but Varane may want to play more games and he'd get them elsewhere too.

Ramos is out for 4-6 weeks I'm sure, so he'll get an extended run in the team.

I dont think Real will sell him but if they do it will be for 30+ million.

Spurs win, 2 goals from Kane again.

Jump over Arsenal by a point into 4th for the time being.

Kane is some player. He can literally do everything. Scary, only 21 and already looks a complete striker.

Just signed a new contract, he'll be there for another 2 years at least. Levy won't sell until he can extract maximum profit.
