The main thing about next year is we shouldnt have any passengers in the team.

Last year, Lamps, Ivan, Torres/Eto'o were murdering the team when we need them to be effective.

its like playing a game a man down.

This year our starting XI should be a lot more complete and have less weakness in it.

thats based on signing Costa, Cesc and Luis.

If we add Pogba, keep Lukaku we'll be the ones to beat next year.

Any dealings we had with Hamburg in the past tended to end up pear shaped, couldn't inflict Sam on him don't think he would know how to use him anyway. Maybe a side like Swansea or Southampton might be good. Even Newcastle at a push.

Atsu looked decent at the WC.

If I was to cherry pick him a team I'd probably say Southampton, maybe even Everton as Delfoeu has gone back to Barca.

I'd say its a feck off we're staying in Juventus.

His money at Juventus isnt great and he'd easily be a high earner wherever he goes it all depends on what Juventus value him at and that could be the main stumbling block.

I'd take that with as much salt as the rumours that he is signing, tbh.

It's all lies until it's a done deal or the deadline passes.

We do need him, imo. We have the best defence in the league if not Europe, we need to have the best midfield and attack if we want sustained success. Pogba at 21 is the surest option in that regard. I know we've MVG in the squad but there's a question mark over what he's capable of since his return from injury in March.

None stood out. None enhanced their reputations. The Belgian Blues, Courtois excepted, weren't much better. Even after this summer the churning won't be over. A few more may be traded out next summer too.

Looks like Jose's template is going to be big, physical and skilful. Much like what he tried to achieve at Real. Bayern template in, Barca out.

He needs a rest, he's so young but he's been paying soccer for 3 years iirc. Hasn't had a summer off since he joined us. Give him a good break and see what he comes back with.

His attitude towards the last few months was shocking, if Jose is questioning it then thats enough to warrant Oscar to want to prove he deserves a place.

It's a trophy. After a fashion. But it represents nothing for an ambitious player. Top players want domestic and Champions leagues. Prior to last year, Liverpool haven't even been in the running.
