Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ramsey and Arteta gone off injured.

Ramsey would be a miss next week.

Dont matter about Ramsey, the league is ours.

I expect us to beat them next week anyway but if Ramsey is out it makes it a little easier again. :)

    Looks like Ramsey's hamstring too.

Don't think it weakens them too much tbh, Ramsey's been poor this season.

If we could keep Aguero fully fit, there's an interesting debate there!

I think when fit Aguero is the best in the league. Would I swap him for Costa? No, because Costa suits us perfect. Costa is definitely up there with the best and at the moment is the most in from striker in the league.

I'll agree to disagree with you on this one. I wouldn't swap Aguero for any other striker at the moment.

Great to hear serious moves being considered to redevelop SB. The max. capacity of circa 40k will eventually seriously undermine revenues.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Well it has legs if the RFU are confirming it, would be brilliant if something was announced in the next few months too.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,603 ✭✭✭grumpymunster

Twickers is a pretty soulless stadium but for a season whilst the Bridge is redeveloped would be grand. Won't happen till after the egg chasing World Cup I would imagine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Ya, theyed probably close the top tiers too for matches which would bring it down to about 60k which is very manageable, I cant see us selling out an 82k stadium.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

Well I'm in favour of any moves that wil facilitate us staying at stamford bridge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

So Arsenal/Spurs drop points and its possible that Ramsey will miss the chelsea game and Liverpool/Everton too drop points and Rooney is going to miss the Chelsea game, its been a great weekend so far for us.

It's also poor with regards to public transport.

Ya, my buddy was living in Richmond and we used to hop on the tube from Heathrow and then spend about 30/40mins on a bus before getting to him even though its only a few miles from Heathrow as the crow flies :pac:

Would be hard enough to get too but it would be a great move IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

We've scored 7 more than ANYONE in the league and we've the same goals conceded as our rivals and in some cases less, couple that with a 5 point lead, its safe to say the league is ours, give it to us now, no point playing the rest of the 32 games :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,829 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

I've read that Costa can barely doing a training session. I'd be deploying Loic more frequently if that's the case. Wrap up Costa in cotton wool if we have to!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Costa for the league Remy/Drogba everything else and Arsenal :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,358 ✭✭✭kev1.3s

I think Jose is playing the injury up a bit, costa doesn't exactly look like a player struggling!

Ive every confidence that Remy can do a job anyway if Costa does go down. Itll be a huge loss if we do lose him but we'll cope.

We are better equipped this season than last alright, also there's more goals all over the pitch.

Turkish Airlines confirm on Twitter that they are our new shirt sponsors.

This was non too shabby by Piazon

He really has to be given a shot next season

I personally don't think he'll make it at Chelsea. He'll be like another De Bruyne, he's undoubtedly talented but he just doesn't fit into what we're looking for.

Where could he play ? There's no space for him in the squad, unless Salah doesn't progress every other attacking option is filled for a long time

Don't see him as a starter just yet but more than good enough for a bench spot, still time for him to be club trained as well I think.

Yep, their deal ends this year.

    GavRedKing wrote: »

It's a bump on the Samsung deal, around £25m, possibly more.

No wonder I got an email off the Chelsea SuperStore selling off jerseys for cheap. Sneaky bastards! There is gonna be a new jersey out, right? With the new sponsor?

If not, it's just an amazing coincidence, but I literally got an email today with amazing offers on jerseys and so on. So I'm wondering now. :P

Well we'll have Samsung on our home jerseys for the rest of the season. New sponsor won't be on until next season, so could be bargain to be had!

I dont like the change coz we'll have two lines of text now instead of one.

Anyway, I hope we get double or money but its unlikely.
