consultant wont phone back

How long can one wait for a pediatrician at the private clinic to call you back? He took some x rays and said he would call back the next day or Monday and never did. The appointment was four weeks ago. I'm starting to think the file was lost and I should start again. I have left many messages but he has not called me back.

Have you asked his secretary what the issue is?
Ive normally found them helpful
Alternatively contact your GP to see if he/she has your medical report from the consultant
