    Hi jjll,

    If you are the account-holder and just want the bill sent to a different address to the one being supplied with electricity/gas, we can apply that update to your account once you private message us your Electric Ireland account number, name, address and telephone number.

    If you are moving address though, you would need to close your account and then reopen it at your new address. To close your account you would need to supply us with a meter reading taken on your final day, and the name/number of someone to contact about continuation of supply (e.g. landlord/letting agency). To reopen your account at your new address, a meter reading taken on the day you move in would be needed, and the electricity MPRN (meter point reference number) and/or GPRN (gas).
