Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I am just wondering about the switch beside the gas boiler. The one where a red light comes on when it’s pressed. Not sure what it is called.

Should this be left on constantly? Say over the summer can be turned off for a few months.

    Thanks
    Barr:)

That's the switched fused spur. It must be left on permanently as it provides permanent power to the boiler which may be required for prolonged periods of no use, for example, some boilers kick on their circulating pumps periodically to keep the capacitor charged so when the heating season returns, the pump works.

There is no cost to keeping it on.
